Hymn For The Weekend

Oh, angel sent from up above
You know you make my world light up
When I was down, when I was hurt
You came to lift me up
Life is a drink, and love’s a drug
Oh, now I think I must be miles up
When I was a river, dried up
You came to rain a flood

And said drink from me, drink from me
When I was so thirsty
Pour on a symphony
Now I just can’t get enough
Put your wings on me, wings on me
When I was so heavy
Pour on a symphony
When I’m low, low, low, low

A Lovely Journey Ode

People like us shine even in a cloudy day
Like a firefly at the end of the way
Living the most precious journey
Good friends like Bert and Ernie
Spreading love and respect unconditionally
With full hearts we will recreate
An harmonious vibes while happiness and joy meet
The bonds of friendship growing tighter
Silence, smile and even laughter
Along the way a thing was learned
While appreciation was concerned
And in the end, seventeen dollars earned
He said seventeen dollars was earned, I disagree because money it’s just to be burned
And this money was burning a hole in my pocket
She was smiling at me like rockey rocket
And our journey, we continued to walk it
Talking science music poem and politic
He wanted to leave it unfinished
Just to please my inner hummingbird
She didn’t want it to be diminished
without the proper ending ode.
By Mark and Me, celebrating our  authentic friendship.

Heart To Heart

To those whom their love shines everyday and spread their beautiful light unconditionally.

It’s OK ’cause I know
You shine even on a rainy day and
I can find your halo
Guides me to wherever you fall
If you need a hand to hold
I’ll come running, because
You and I won’t part till we die
You should know
We see eye to eye, heart to heart.
